Support during the night is common and be required for several different reasons. It may be that your primary carer who could be a friend, family member or employed carer requires support and respite during the night. It could be that living at home is especially challenging on a night due to a change in physical or mental condition, or even just for reassurance in the short term following a recent hospital discharge due to an accident.

Night Care & Supporting Assistants
North Haven care and Support can provide night care and support assistants who work between the hours of 7.00pm and 10.00am. Night support can be provided in two forms: –
Your care and support assistant will be available and on standby throughout the hours of 7.00pm and 10.00am. They will support you to prepare for bed including any personal care required. Your care and support assistant will always be available during the night to support with going to the toilet/commode for example.
They will be there for you as soon as you need them in the morning, to help you get ready for the day ahead.
Your assistant will assist with getting in and out of bed in the evening and morning. However, whilst you are sleeping, they too are expected to sleep, but may be disturbed once at no additional cost.
For a sleep in service a suitable bed will be required to be provided with a suitable monitoring/alerting system so that your assistant can be alerted to assist you.
